"Just about the most fun it's possible to cram into 350 centimetres" We get a lot of very desirable vehicles through the road test department. Porsches, Maseratis, Ferraris and the like come and go yet there's always an unseemly scramble for the keys whenever a Vauxhall Agila arrives. At first it seems ridiculous. What could a cheap car that looks like a shoebox possibly offer a bunch of motoring hacks weaned on some of the finest cars money can buy? In short, fun and lots of it. The Agila marked Vauxhall's first foray into the citycar market, and although it was a new venture for the British company, it was far from a brand new model, being in effect a rebadged Suzuki Wagon R+ albeit with a pair of engines not shared with its Japanese counterpart.
